TWILIGHT ON TV SHOWS

Why do people watch degenerate TV shows?
I’m tired of watching shows like:
Daytime talk shows where weirdos show how tacky and low they are.
Court shows where stupid people sue over cell phone bills.
Celebrity shows where they tell us what to think about the stars and how impressive I should think they are.
Anything where gay men (forgive how this sounds) tell us what’s stilish and trendy.
Reality shows peroid! Especially when it involves a slut jumping from bed to bed each episode.
Constant news coverage of nothing and interviews with ball players who can barely put 7 words together.
All the rap/pop music programing.
Because of this, I just cancelled my cable. I want to see shows like Heroes, House, SVU, Kyle XY, Star Trek, X-Files, Walker Texas Ranger, Sliders, Twilight Zone, etc. Most of that is either on broadcast tv, online, or on Netflix. So I just have no more use for cable.
I am wondering how many of you feel this way. Any thoughts?
I agree with you 100%! I HATE reality shows!!! My favorite show (you forgot to mention, lol) is LOST. I also really like Burn Notice.
